Loren Ford, CDT
General Manager, Crown and Bridge Manager

Loren started working in the lab at age 16, and has worked in every area of the business. He earned an AA degree in Dental Technology from Seattle Central Community College in 1981 and passed the CDT exams for Complete Dentures in 1985. In 1986 Loren took over the C & B department and still spends the majority of his time contouring porcelain and taking custom shades. With the help if a portable glaze oven he occasionally makes small adjustments in the dental office where the patient and doctor can provide input on esthetic challenges. Loren took ownership of the lab in 2003, and looks forward to many more years of advancing dental art. Loren will be serving as President of the Washington State Dental Laboratory Association in 2010. He attends a wide variety of CE courses both locally and out of state in a never ending quest to improve methods and materials. Since there are very few opportunities for formal education for dental technicians Loren is very involved in supporting and providing courses for the local dental community and his employees.
